Clausura 2017 Semifinals Game 2 Results: Guadalajara 1, Toluca 1

The first half of the Clausura 2017 Gran Final is set, although both Guadalajara & Toluca didn’t seem to want to finish it the easy way. Like the first game, this one ended in a 1-1 tie, but when all the tiebreakers are factored in, it came down to regular season results and that means the Chivas have reached their first Gran Final since 2006. Guadalajara scored first on a Nestor Calderon free kick goal in the 29th minute, but Toluca tied it up on a Fernando Uribe goal in the 47th minute. Neither team was able to seal the deal and 4 minutes of extra time didn’t do it either, so the tiebreakers gave the victory to Guadalajara and they will now wait for Tijuana or Tigres in the final.
