Clausura 2017 Round 14 Results: TIjuana 2, Jaguares 1

Tijuana took a big step towards the playoffs in today’s first game, using a late score to put away Jaguares 2-1. The first goals were scored right around halftime-Jaguares scored first in the 44th minute when Felix Micolta got around a falling Manuel Lajud and put the ball into the wide-open Tijuana net. As soon as the second half began, Aviles Hurtado got Tijuana on the board with his 8th of the half, tying him with the currently-inactive Nicolas Castillo for the league lead. Juan Lucero put Tijuana up for good in the 76th minute, and even 6 minutes of extra time wasn’t enough for Jaguares to get even. The win moves Tijuana back into a tie for 1st for now.
