Clausura 2017 Round 13 Results: Monterrey 4, Jaguares 1

Monterrey did their part to keep pace with the league leaders, staying near the top of the standings with an easy 4-1 home win over Jaguares. Rogelio Funes Mori kicked off the scoring with a 34th-minute goal, then Edwin Cardona scored the first of his 2 on the night in the 43rd minute, following with a 70th-minute score. Jaguares got on the board in the 75th minute on a Felix Micolta goal, but Jesus de Nigris’ 85th-minute goal got the final margin back up to 3. With the loss, Jaguares actually fell behind Morelia in the ratio/quotient table, their recent slump dropping them closer to possible demotion.
