Clausura 2017 Round 9 Results: Leon 1, America 1

Two teams really struggling this half, much to the surprise of many I’m sure, met up last night and neither was able to really break through as Leon & America played to a 1-1 tie. Both goals came at the halfway point-Mauro Boselli scored only his second goal this half right before halftime for Leon, but America tied it up right after the break on a Bruno Valdez header. Leon played short-handed for the last 75+ minutes because of Jorge Pereyra catching America’s Miguel Samudio in the back of the knee with what looked like his own knee…Rojas! HE GONE! America dominated the second half stats but just couldn’t get that second goal, even with 4 minutes of extra time that stretched the game out to nearly 100 minutes.
