Clausurra 2017 Round 6 Results: Pachuca 1, Tigres 0

The Tigres offensive slump continues with seemingly no end in sight, as the champs’ scoreless streak reached an astonishing 5 games today in a 1-0 loss at Pachuca. The only goal came from Franco Jara in the 6th minute, his second of the tournament, as it was a typical defense-heavy match between the teams. Soon afterwards both sides got really physical and the cards piled up until the 65th minute when Javier Aquino hurt himself going for a tackle on the ball and took himself and the Pachuca attacker down hard. And to add insult to injury that was the second of 2 Amarillas for Aquino in the game, so to add insult to injury…Rojas! HE GONE! Double ouch. There were no cards or fouls afterwards. Although I’d like to be in attendance for those Ricardo Feretti postgame pressers/interviews, there must be some colorful Spanish/Portugese sound bytes.
