Clausura 2017 Round 6 Results: Queretaro 2, Leon 1

It took until the very end but Queretaro finally ended its winless streak and zero-streaks to start the second half of the season today, finally breaking through with a 2-1 win over Leon. Luis Noriega again started the scoring for the Gallos Blancos, but no own goal this time as he properly scored in the 13th minute for the early lead. Leon tied it up in the 35th minute on a header by Osvaldo Rodriguez and the game remained tied until near the end of the game-with 4 minutes of second half stoppage time to be played, more than half of it was gone when Miguel Martinez scored the game-winner to give Queretaro its first win at last and snap its 5-game winless streak. It also gives Queretaro coach Jaime Lozano his first Liga MX victory.
