Clausura 2017 Round 5 Results: Cruz Azul 1, Queretaro 1

Queretaro managed to snap one if its dubious zero-streaks yesterday at Cruz Azul, but they sure tried hard to keep them all going and were extremely lucky to leave Estadio Azul with a 1-1 tie. Luis Noriega accounted for all the scoring, finally scoring Queretaro’s first goal in the 56th minute. Only one problem…it was the dreaded OWN GOAL! But Noriega then saved himself with a correctly-scored 73rd minute goal to save a point for the Gallos Blancos and deny Cruz Azul 2 extra points. But Queretaro’s winless streak continues, they still haven’t won this tournament.
