Clausura 2017 Round 4 Results: Monterrey 0, Leon 0

While there were plenty of shots today taken between Monterrey & Leon, the end result wasn’t very productive as both teams left the field with a 0-0 tie. The Rayados took one bad shot at themselves in the 21st minute-players from both sides kept going up for headers when on a second such sequence Monterrey’s Edwin Cardona went up with another Leon player as a third came jumping in only to take Cardona’s elbow to the head…ouch. And…Rojas! HE GONE! Cardona makes it two weeks in a row that a Monterrey player gets tossed, here he left his team a man down for nearly 70 minutes. They managed to keep Leon off the board so perhaps they salvaged something out of this tie besides a point.
